Eric Loy

Founder /CEO

Eric Loy holds a BA in theater and film from Occidental College. After graduation, Loy began an entrepreneurial career in both the entertainment and internet industries. In 1992, Loy formed his first company, Force Five Productions LLC. Force Five focused on the production of music videos and independent films, successfully teaming up with award-winning artists and directors Dustin Hoffman, Davis Guggenheim, and Vadim Perlman.

In 1997, Eric became the driving force in forming CDL Art Advisory, Loy’s idea was to channel Cardiff Loy’s curatorial and arts management skills into an advisory service that serves individuals interested in building art collections. The couple not only tapped their many contacts throughout Hollywood, but also reached out to individuals across the United States and Europe. For over 20 years, Loy’s managerial expertise and strategic vision have been instrumental to the success of CDL.
In 2012 Eric turned his attention to cannabis and founded Ot Ortal LLC, an online publisher aggregating news and information about the cannabis and hemp worlds. Flagships Pot Portal and Hemp Healthy (Can we make these rollover links to site?) anchor this ever growing company.

Loy refocused his entrepreneurial spirit in the burgeoning legalized markets, and has been a leader in investing and consulting with companies and brands in cannabis since then.

Chris Martin

Christopher Martin is currently a technology investor and advisor for start up and growth companies in the Los Angeles area. His background includes working with Fortune 100 companies building talent and human resource organizations. Prior to his corporate career, he played professional baseball with the Montreal Expo and Tampa Bay organizations.

Scott Caton

Scott Caton, LPC, LSOTP, is a therapist in Wimberley and Dripping Springs, Texas (outside Austin). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Occidental College and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Texas State University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and is trainned in Eye Movement Desensitiazion and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to a general private practice, he specializes in addiction recovery work with teens and adults. His mental health background and training puts Scott in a unique situation to assist companies in the cannabis industry maintain social responsibility with respect to underage usage and addiction.
